Actor Kamal Haasan, who turned politician a few of years ago, expressed his solidarity with the scholars who were attacked by a violent mob on January 5 at the distinguished JNU. Many celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee Pannu among others condemned the attack and spoke against it.
Now, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has spoken against the attack. "It's really worrying. If this happens to students, it's definitely panicking. it is also injustice and that i can keep it up saying more about it. this example should change, the dictatorship should change," said Vishwaroopam actor while addressing the media.
Earlier, Kamal Haasan spoke on the violence in Jamia Milia also and sided with the scholars then. Even now, Kamal sticks to his stand calling it an injustice and a worrying situation. He also urges a change within the situation and stated that it is time the dictatorship should change also .
Speaking at an occasion on Thursday, he spoke about his actor-friend Rajinikanth and reiterated that everybody is susceptible to work towards the betterment of Tamil Nadu today.
"Every Tamilian should roll in the hay , all should have that share and that they are susceptible to do this . they need to take a position and exerting . People in top positions and rich should do accordingly. Tamil Nadu should be placed where it should be, it is the duty of everyone and it's his duty also ," he said.
