In Bihar, IAS officer files complaint against Chief Minister, Tejashwi seeks protection for complainant

There was panic in the administrative department of Bihar on Saturday when a disgruntled IAS officer filed a complaint in a police station on Saturday demanding registration of an FIR against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and several top officials. Sudhir Kumar, a 1987 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, reached the Gardanibagh police station in the afternoon. But he had to wait for four hours to get acknowledgment of his written complaint.

The bureaucrat, who is currently a member of the state revenue board, told reporters, "The matter is related to fraud. The people named in the complaint include people from top to bottom level. I will not take anyone's name." However, when he was repeatedly asked whether the Chief Minister's name was there in the FIR, he said - "Yes".

Manu Maharaj's name also in the complaint letter

He admitted to mentioning the name of another officer in the complaint and that is Manu Maharaj, a former SSP officer of Patna. Maharaj, an officer of the Indian Police Service, has been promoted to the rank of DIG and is currently posted elsewhere.

The IAS officer is due to retire early next year and had to serve three years in jail after being named in the job recruitment scam. In October last year, the Supreme Court had granted him bail.

He declined to give details of his complaint, saying "it is related to forgery of documents" and when asked about how many people he has named in the complaint, he said, "I don't count." .''

'Wait for four hours for acknowledgment'

At the same time, he taunted and said, "Look at the good governance in Bihar, an IAS officer was made to wait for four hours. FIR not registered. I was only given an acknowledgment of my complaint. The same thing happened in March when I went to Shastri Nagar police station with the same documents." He said, "Efforts to gather information about the progress of the old complaint also failed, including RTI."

Gardnibagh SHO Arun Kumar said, "Complaint has been received and acknowledgment has been given to sir (IAS officer). All necessary legal procedures will be followed." He, however, refused to confirm that the chief minister's name was included in the complaint. He said, "It is a matter of investigation. We cannot give details."

Tejashwi seeks security for IAS officer

Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav demanded a thorough probe into the IAS officer's allegations and also demanded that adequate security be given to him. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader told reporters, "The Chief Minister should clarify on this issue. They should not avoid a thorough investigation of the matter unless they have nothing to hide."

Yadav said, "Nitish Kumar used to scold me that I am not giving an explanation. Now it is his turn." He was referring to an incident four years ago when his name came up in a money laundering case as deputy chief minister. Due to this incident, Nitish Kumar had severed ties with the RJD and rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA.

RJD claims 'Tejashwi Yadav will hoist the flag as CM on August 15', JDU said - 420 accused will not get a chance

The politics of Bihar has been heated these days due to the statements made by the ruling party and the opposition. In fact, RJD MLA Bhai Virendra had claimed that a big change is going to happen in Bihar. He said that on 15th August i.e. Independence Day, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav will hoist the flag as Chief Minister. After this statement of the strong leader of RJD, the politics of Bihar got heated and the ruling BJP and JDU together have now started targeting this claim of the RJD MLA.

BJP said that RJD is afraid of breaking the party

After the RJD MLA's claim, BJP MLA Naval Kishore Yadav retaliated saying that RJD itself is afraid of breaking the party, so its leaders are giving such statements. He said that RJD leaders are only cooking khyali pulao, but nothing is going to happen.

RJD should not break on its own till August 15

Naval Kishore said about RJD that RJD is talking about August 15. May his party not break it on its own first. He said that the RJD MLAs are very angry at this time and they want to come out themselves. RJD does such things from time to time so that the enthusiasm of the MLAs remains and the party does not break.

JDU said that those who develop in Bihar remain in power, not 420

Describing RJD's claim of Tejashwi's coronation as meaningless, JDU MLA Neeraj Kumar said that RJD wants to crown him who is an accused and is facing trial. In Bihar, those who do development remain in power and not those who do 420 work. People in Bihar are never going to give them a chance.
